Are you the type who appreciates the subtle nuances that differentiate really good from the very best? If so, you're the type who will appreciate this exquisite freshadama pearl necklace.
This freshadama strand is composed 7.5-8.0 mm freshwater pearls, which is the most popular size we carry. The necklace is ungraduated, so there is no visible difference in size between each pearl. The strand is perfectly matched to perfection, and each pearl is truly round, free of blemishes and boasts a highly reflective luster.
The strand is 18-inches in length and will sit just below the collarbone. The pearls are individually knotted on twin silk so they never scratch against each other. This also protects against accidental breakage. The solid 14 karat gold clasp comes with a safety catch for added security.
Freshadama pearls are sorted highest .01% of the freshwater pearl harvest each year. These pearls are exceptionally difficult to collect, and we've been proudly offering them for decades through our exclusive partnerships in Asia. With less than 5% deviation from a perfectly round shape, these pearls rival the finest saltwater pearls.
By purchasing these pearls, you are guaranteed to receive the absolute best freshwater pearls produced in the world today.

About Akoya Pearl
This is the true portrayal of our pearl oyster fishermen:
The mother shells of Japanese Akoya pearls are mostly produced in Agoya, Japan, and are currently mainly produced in Mie, Kumamoto and Ehime prefectures.
Akoya pearls have been called "Japanese pearls" since ancient times. They grow in bays with comfortable temperature and calm waves. Most of them are round in shape. The diameter of each pearl ranges from the smallest 2mm to the largest 10mm. Over 8.5mm is relatively rare.
